Membership
What does it cost?
Subscription fee is €20 per year payable from October 1st.
What do you get?
The chance to play some of the best courses in the region at advantaged rates 52 weeks of the year. Favourable discounts with our partners and sponsors (see below). A chance to meet and socialise with over 150 members.
How many times can I play?
SMGS membership is currently closed as the Society is at full capacity. Unfortunately, we are also unable to accommodate prospective members as guests at this time.
Members have no restrictions other than the available places for the fixtures.
How do I join or play as a guest?
When membership reopens, applicants will normally need to live in the area permanently or part-time and be able to play at least 12 times a year. Prospective members will be invited to play with the Society as a guest on three occasions so that we can meet and get to know them before membership is considered.
All guests and new members are expected to understand the Rules of Golf, observe good golf etiquette and play ready golf.
